Founded in 2009 by Chie Carroll, what began as a small freelance venture has grown into a full remote web studio that combines strategy, creativity, and faith. From 2009 to 2019, we had the privilege of working with non-profits, small businesses, and global organizations — helping them grow their digital presence and share their mission with clarity.
In 2019, we made Waco, Texas, our home base. From here, we continue to serve both local and international clients while staying deeply rooted in the Central Texas community.

Chie - Founder/Web Producer
Hi, I’m Chie — the heart behind 3mpStudio. My passion for web design started back in 1998, when I gave my first college presentation on “Building a Website.” Even though I didn’t finish my Computer Science degree (some professors couldn’t quite see the future of web development!), I knew I’d found my path.
After working at an advertising agency, I learned how traditional media and digital design intersect — and that foundation shaped how I approach web strategy today.
Over the years, I’ve built 3mpStudio into more than just a design service — it’s a creative partner for business owners who want to make their mark online. I love helping brands grow through websites that blend aesthetics with purpose.
When I’m not designing or brainstorming strategy, I’m usually homeschooling our kids, sharing coffee breaks with Tim, or working on one of our creative family projects.
Tim - Web Content Manager
I’m Tim, and I help keep everything at 3mpStudio running smoothly. With a background in communications and counseling, plus six years in the BPO industry, I bring structure, content strategy, and attention to detail to every project.
I manage our content workflows, ensure all pages and links are accurate, and assist in research and social media development. Basically, I make sure our clients’ messages are clear, consistent, and effective across the web.
Outside of work, I’m a proud dad, runner, coffee enthusiast, and lover of great conversations about faith and life. Working alongside Chie allows me to bring creativity and precision together, helping clients share their stories authentically online.
Gwen - Content Creator and Illustrator
I’m Gwen, and I bring the creative touch to 3mpStudio through content creation and digital illustration. As an artist by profession, I love transforming my handmade artwork into digital pieces that tell a story and add character to every project.
My passion lies in blending traditional art with modern design — from sketching original illustrations to developing visual content that enhances our clients’ brands.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me journaling, painting watercolor scenes of Waco landmarks, or spending time with friends at my favorite local coffee shops. For me, creativity isn’t just work — it’s a way of life.
